I recently began drinking green matcha tea as a replacement for coffee. I had Lymes disease recently which led to some adrenal issues and coffee was just making me anxious, and no longer the treat it once was. I can't tell you how much heathier and cleaner I feel from this switch. Since I was getting really into the matcha I decided it was worth investing in the set and I have no regrets. Trying to make matcha in a coffee cup with a spoon was not optimizing the benefits of the tea. Not only did it make a mess but there were clumps of tea on the bottom. With the proper bowl and bamboo whisk there is no mess and no more wasted clumps on the bottom. Even measuring with the provided bamboo spoon was easier. As a bonus the bowl is pretty cool looking. The tea itself seems to be high quality and is from Japan, which from my research is the only place to find quality green matcha tea.
