Review: My first scope, no regrets so far - This is my first scope so I am unable to give a technical review, but from a n00b/novice perspective who wants a cheap scope for hobbyist purposes, I would recommend this. An hour or two of fumbling and I've pretty much learned how to navigate and manipulate it without refering to the destructions. I tested with a simple arduino PWM controller and a music synthesizer and it seems to be accurate enough, at least for my needs. I did buy a second set of probes (it only comes with one, despite being a 2 channel scope). It comes with a pulse source for calibrating the probes, which is very useful. Need a hobbyist scope, or a simple scope to get you started? I'd recommend this in a heart beat. Very happy! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ A good scope at a good price *by P***K on 2 July 2025* I am very happy with this scope! I'm an engineer and whilst I haven't owned a scope at home for years I have used some very high end scopes at work. This is not a high end scope, the software is laggy on changing settings. I have not compared it real time so can't comment on it's performance directly but when looking at complex modulated signals I never have the suspicion of loosing edges or transient responses. What I will say is that the additional functions such as decoders are fantastic. If you are thinking of buying this for general home use buy it - and do yourself a favour but the one with the inbuilt function generator!
