On daily tablets for 10 years to prevent heartburn and now haven't taken one in almost a month since drinking water with this filter in the bottle. If you have heartburn this won't completely remove it, and it will be a struggle for a few days as your body adapts, but it is definitely manageable now and no longer a painful problem. I don't know anything about supposed health or nutritional benefits of alkaline water, but this problem definitely works 100%.
