## Description

This remarkable two-part epoxy coating protects fiberglass hulls from water absorption. It’s formulated with Microplates that creates an overlapping water barrier. It’s also great for repairing gelcoat that has been damaged by osmotic blistering. Excellent adhesion to fiberglass, composite, metal and wood Suitable for use above and below the waterline as a universal primer for all surfaces Long overcoating times add versatility & flexibility InterProtect 2000E has a natural structure within the epoxy coating to create a barrier against water permeation called Micro-Plates. Technically, the InterProtect 2000E Micro-Plates formula provides millions of overlapping microscopic plates. When bound in the epoxy coating, they create a barrier similar to shingles on a roof. The Micro-Plates eliminate any direct path for water migration. InterProtect 2000E is one of the key components in the Ultimate No Sand System, preferred by first class North American boat builders.

**Q: Can this be used on aluminum?**
A: prep per instructions (google proper instructions and follow), not a product to mess with without following instructions

**Q: do you have to mix these two cans?**
A: The gallon is the primer the quart is the hardner if you don't need it all the mix ratio is 4 parts of primer to 1 part hardner

**Q: Do you have it in white?**
A: yes

**Q: What is the shelf life of this product?**
A: I have had at times used the product after storage for a couple of years. The main epoxy does not degrade but does settle and needs to be stirred well. The hardener does not age as well but if it is sealed from air it can last for over a year. You can visably see if has degraded. In all the product has a long shelf life.
