However, there are some very minor irregularities with the painting on some of the rims of the plates and bowls (I got the white). If you are looking for perfection, maybe pay more for a better set. I would probably buy these again...

I ADORE these. I don't have a dishwasher so can't say how they hold up in a dishwasher, but they are beautiful, big, and well-crafted. They clean so easily and match all my cookware beautifully. I have open shelves so wanted something I could place that was pleasing to the eye and they hit that ticket. Only small thing is that they did have a slight oder when I unpackaged them. I let them soak in soapy water for a few hours and it went away ASAP. Buy these dishes.
