Well, I just opened the package a few minutes ago, and I was pleasantly surprised. I could smell the Barbeque aroma in the package itself before even opening the packet, and it was promising. Firstly, the texture is really close to that of actual meat. It's a bit on the juicy side, but not to the point to where it'll spill all over you. When chewing it, it wasn't a chore, but it is sort of tough. Instead of telling you how tasty it was (because opinions differ), I'd rather tell you what it tasted like. It's on the sugary side, but it has that mesquite taste as well. If I had to compare it to something else, I'd choose Chinese food. If you enjoy that type of flavoring, I'd highly consider this jerky.
