A: I was told that a replacement is being sent to me because only 4 months had passed since my purchase.

**Q: My old battery says 7.5v. Will this 7.2v battery work.**
A: Assuming you are using the battery in the Swivel Sweeper Max or an earlier version of the Sweeper.  If that is the case yes the battery will work fine.  The only difference I noticed was a slightly shorter run time before the battery ran out.

I've had it over a year now. I don't use the appliance very frequently and I think the original battery got damaged by being plugged into the charger for long periods. This one seems to work better than my original.
