They are a little hard to set because my hands aren't big enough or strong enough (and I'm a little bit of a chicken). My son sets them and I place them. Within hours I had my first mole. If you can see where the moles have their fresh runs, you can catch a mole! You don't have to dig down into the tunnel or anything, just locate the run, make slits in the soil with a spade for the loops to set into. There is no bait needed and the way they are made, it would be difficult to "catch" yourself. I would definitely recommend these mole traps because I know they work!
