Designed for brush-on application, it dries rapidly within an hour to a smooth, self-leveling film that adheres exceptionally well to resin, plastics, steel, and white metal. Packaged in a 17 ml bottle with an eyedropper to prevent drying out, this paint is perfect for detailed modeling and large surfaces alike, making it a top choice for hobbyists seeking professional results. ## Description Vallejo 70990 Model Color Acrylic Paint features matt and opaque acrylic colors with highest pigment concentration in a water-based formula, especially developed for brush-on application. The model color range is very extensive and includes basic shades as well as many references developed by our experts for use on historical figures as well as the specific colors employed for all types of vehicles, planes and military models. The assortment includes a selection of glazes, transparent and fluorescent colors used for achieving special effects. It is recommended to apply the colors on a surface which has first been primed; the colors dry rapidly and form a self-leveling, homogenous paint film, equally perfect for large surfaces as for the most miniature details of the model. Model color performs exceptionally well on all surfaces with extraordinary adherence on resin, plastics, steel and white metal. Tools and brushes are cleaned with water. Safety: model color is not flammable, and does not contain solvents. Please see also certified safety information of the product on the safety page. Packaging: model color is presented in bottles of 17 ml/0.57 fl oz with eyedropper. This packaging prevents the paint from evaporating and drying in the container, so that it can be used in minimal quantities and preserved for a long time. ## Features - Matt and opaque acrylic colors with highest pigment concentration in a water-based formula - Consistency of model color allows for an extremely smooth and uniform paint film with no trace of brushstrokes - Includes a selection of glazes, transparent and fluorescent colors used for achieving special effects - Performs exceptionally well on all surfaces with extraordinary adherence on resin, plastics, steel and white metal - Colors dry rapidly and form a self-levelling, homogenous paint film, equally perfect for large surfaces ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B000PH9JXC | | ASIN | B000PH9JXC | | Age Range Description | Adult | | Best Sellers Rank | #41,016 in Toys ( See Top 100 in Toys ) #97 in Hobby Tool Paints | | Brand Name | Vallejo | | Color | Light Grey | | Color Code | #D3D3D3 | | Container Type | Bottle | | Coverage | Full | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 4.6 out of 5 stars (26,546) | | Customer reviews | 4.6 4.6 out of 5 stars (26,546) | | Date First Available | 7 August 2012 | | Dry Time In Hours | 1 | | Finish Type | Matte | | Full Cure Time | 24 Hours | | Global Trade Identification Number | 08429551709903 | | Included Components | Brush | | Indoor Outdoor Usage | Indoor | | Is Discontinued By Manufacturer | No | | Is Waterproof | True | | Item Form | Liquid | | Item Part Number | 990 | | Item Volume | 17 Milliliters | | Item Weight | 0.01 Ounces | | Item model number | VJ70990 | | Language | Spanish | | Manufacturer | Acrylicos Vallejo S.L. | | Manufacturer | Acrylicos Vallejo S.L. | | Model Name | Model Color | | Model Number | VJ70990 | | Paint Type | Acrylic | | Part Number | 990 | | Product Dimensions | 1.91 x 1.91 x 7.62 cm; 0.28 g | | Size | 17 Milliliters | | Special Features | Non Flammable, Non Toxic | | Specific Uses For Product | Interior/Exterior | | Surface Recommendation | Glass | | Unit Count | 17 Milliliters | | Water Resistance Level | Waterproof | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Vallejo - **Colour:** Light Grey - **Finish type:** Matte - **Item volume:** 17 Milliliters - **Size:** 17 Milliliters ## Images ![Vallejo 70990 Model Color Acrylic Paint 17 ml, Light Grey - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51cHidrfq4L.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color, Size** options. ## Frequently Bought Together - Vallejo Light Grey Model Color Paint, 17ml - Vallejo Light Brown Model Color Paint, 17ml - Vallejo Game Color Bonewhite Paint, 17ml --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.ar/products/306625673-vallejo-70990-model-color-acrylic-paint-17-ml-light-grey](https://www.desertcart.com.ar/products/306625673-vallejo-70990-model-color-acrylic-paint-17-ml-light-grey) --- *Product available on Desertcart Argentina* *Store origin: AR* *Last updated: 2026-10-25*
