I usually keep it rolled up and hang in my den. It’s a great conversation piece and attracts a lot of attention. The memory of sitting at my camp site within the protected warmth of this blanket in the morning surrounded by majestic peaks will often hasten my next wilderness retreat. It's a throw, so it's not something you'd probably sleep with. But it's perfect for an extra bit of warmth lounging around the house. (I typically use it in my lap or over my shoulders when I'm working in my home office.) It's wool, so it's not baby llama soft. But it's also not scratchy or in any way uncomfortable, at least to me. I love the carry straps -- it's nice to see genuine leather still used in a product, there's something very old-school about it.. Overall, the workmanship and craft are top-notch -- just what you'd expect from Pendleton!
