Its ergonomically balanced DuraSoft handle is secured with torque pad screws for stability and easy customization. Rounded ends minimize float marks, making it ideal for professional-grade masonry work. ## Description The Marshalltown hand straightener is made of very hard, strong but lightweight magnesium. The trowel has a slightly curved shape across its entire width and length so that the front and back of the trowel does not dig into concrete or screed while the sides slide across the surface while working. Magnesium trowels produce a smoother surface than wood or stainless steel, the surface is not sealed but allows water to evaporate, preventing cracks in concrete or screed. The wooden handle is easy to clean and sturdy and fits well in the hand. The handle can be replaced, so you can choose between the Durasoft handle or the wooden handle.
