Review: This works amazingly well against three rambunctious standard poodle puppies ! - I finally got tired of repositioning our 5x7 rug that is on composite flooring in our living room because of our 10 month old standard poodle puppies' racing and roughhousing. I had three strips of the standard roll "grip" sheets down, and the pups would have the rug traveling all over the living room floor. Finally, I had read a post in a fb paint group about this rug pad. The gal had been in the retail furniture industry, and they had used/sold and recommended this pad. The price for the 5x7 size was a little more than I wanted to spend, so I kept putting it off until I couldn't stand putting my living room back together from the pups moving the rug. I'm very glad I finally got this pad! I love how comfortable the rug is now to walk on, and amazingly, it does a great job in keeping the rug from moving... and these dogs are about 50+ pounds each at 10 months, and they can really get going when they roughhouse. This rug goes absolutely nowhere! They'll kick up a corner now and then, but the pad itself and the whole rug stays put. Just be sure use the correct side against your floor... there's different stickiness for hard floors and carpet. As I get to my other rugs, I'm definitely replacing the rolled grip junk with this amazing product.
Review: Perfect pad - This pad is AMAZING. We finally have a pad that will hold our large area rug (9 x 13) in place over wall to will carpet. We had tried 2 other pads and multiple attempts with double sided tape. All of them failed and the area rug would "walk" and bunch up becoming a tripping hazard. This is a great solution.

## Features

- One Pad For ANY Flooring: No need to worry if you have beautiful hardwood floors, laminate flooring, imported tile or marble—or any other type of foundation—because our nonskid ¼-inch thick area rug pads are safe for all of them. We use a specially formulated fiber composition that keeps your treasured rugs firmly in place without marking or damaging what’s underneath.
- Streamlined Installation: You’ll be delighted at how fast and easy it is to get your new gripping pad in place and no special tools are required, just a standard household scissors. On clean, dry floors, place the white side of the mat up if you have hard flooring, and the gray side up if you have carpeting. Ensure the grip pad is 1 to 2 inches smaller than your rug (cut with scissors to fit). Use two pads together on oversized rugs—you don’t need splicing tape.
- Lasting Durability: While basic rubber rug pads and backing tend to crack, crumble, flatten, and harm flooring, take comfort in Teebaud’s uniquely safe and long-lasting advantages. The solid-body fiber gripper is coated with water-based resin used specifically for its exceptional non-slip properties. The mat is breathable and steady, which extends the life of your original floors and the underlayer of your rug. If you have underfloor heating, keep temps at 89F & below.
- For Home Or Office: High traffic areas need a quality non-skid rug pad grip. Use Teebaud’s superior underlay holders for rooms, hallways, and foyers at home and at work. Place your reliable grips under area rugs in meeting rooms and bedrooms, beneath hallway runners, and to hold entryways. Beautiful rugs stay put securely through plenty of busy feet, wheeled equipment, vacuum cleaners, and more.
- Teebaud Integrity: Rely on Teebaud for the highest quality pure fiber rug grip pads. Your home and workspace area rugs are sure to hold strong just where you want them, while your base flooring stays in great condition. Grippers can be easily picked up and moved when you redecorate or move. Feel free to contact our friendly team if you ever have questions or comments.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Will this rug pad damage or stain my hardwood floors?**
A: No — We use a water-based, non-toxic adhesive that is completely floor-safe. Unlike rubber pads that can discolor hardwood over time it lifts cleanly with zero residue. Any marks wipe away easily with warm soapy water.

**Q: Does this rug pad work on both carpet and hard floors?**
A: Yes. It has dual-sided grip technology that works on all hard surfaces — hardwood, tile, vinyl, and laminate — as well as on carpet. Most standard rubber options only grip on hard floors, making harp the more versatile choice for any room.

**Q: How thick is this rug pad and will I notice the cushioning?**
A: It is ¼ inch thick — noticeably plush compared to thin rubber or felt pads. Customers describe the feel as softer and more luxurious underfoot. It's especially popular in living rooms, bedrooms, and kitchen standing areas.

**Q: Can I cut this rug pad to fit my rug size?**
A: Absolutely. It trims easily with standard household scissors without fraying. Simply trim 1–2 inches smaller than your rug on all sides for the cleanest look and best grip performance. No special tools required.

**Q: Is this rug pad safe for homes with kids and pets?**
A: Yes. It is made from non-toxic polyester fibers and a water-based adhesive — completely free of harmful chemicals. Designed to be safe for all indoor environments, including homes with children, pets, and allergy-sensitive family members.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works Great!
*by C***E on August 17, 2026*

We have a 5 x 7 rug covering an area of carpet with heavy traffic that gets dirty. The 5x7 kept "walking" across the room every day. With the Teebaud pad, it stays completely in place without a wiggle
