**Q: Will this pump work on a 1968 chrysler newport with a 383 ?**
A: There are two types in this listing: diesel and "petrol" (gasoline).  Make sure you get the right one.

Then, let's say you are cruising at 64 MPH and getting 8 miles per gallon.  That computes to 8 gallons per hour of fuel consumption.  This put claims to put out 28 GPH, so it seems like it "should" work.

**Q: Will this work to transfer gas from my boat to a 6 gallon can I need to transfer about 60 gallons, might need to lift about 4 feet to the can?**
A: I used it to transfer fuel from my boat to a gas can.  My boat was trailered and the pump had no issue.

**Q: can this work as a supply pump for an IH 966 set up for pulling? the gravity feed won't feed the pump enough fuel any more**
A: First, the 12D is for diesel, not gasoline. Second, it does provide the flow and PSI listed. I'm not sure what flow or PSI your IH966 needs but I would say yes. It's a pretty hefty pump.

**Q: Will this work for a v-twin motorcycle with regular carbs**
A: It should, depending on you needed fuel supply, this pump put out about 6 psi of fuel pressure so you may need a fuel pressure regulator. It works fine on my golf cart with the Vegas Cart 460 engine w/o a fuel pressure regulator.
