Review: Great for Toddlers - I made a felt board for my 2 year old granddaughter and bought several of these sets that go along with the books. Her favorite is "Monkeys Jumping On The Bed". After a few months of retelling the stories with her along with the felt pieces she now pulls the sets out of the drawer, sets up the characters and retells the story all by herself. These sets are made very well and I am sure we'll be passing them along when she outgrows them.

**Q: How long is the caterpillar and the butterfly?**
A: Hello,
We have checked with the manufacturer and they stated the caterpillar at the top and the one at the bottom are both about 6" long and the Butterfly is about 10" long.

**Q: how big are the pieces?**
A: They vary. Some, like the butterfly and sun, are about 3 inches long. Others are between 1-2 inches long. It's not a set I let my three year old take around the house. I'm afraid he'd drop a piece and we could have trouble finding it. I also wouldn't let an infant play with this alone; they could easily fit the smaller cloth pieces in their mouth. We use this at bedtime. I read the story, hand over each piece as it's mentioned and he builds the story. We love it. 

Very nice set. I cut the pieces out individually so we could count each piece of fruit together as we place them on the board. It extends the fun of the whole storytelling experience. (Plus it just looks better and more realistic without all that excess white surrounding all the images.) My daughter and I have the story memorized from the book so this is a huge thrill for her to see it in another form.
