Easy to install, great bang for my buck!
My house was broken in twice. I am fed up with these crooks so I decided to get a camera doorbell for my family. Most thiefs will stay away from getting their faces, their sights on video. This camera has great quality day time and day time as well. The battery is huge and it’s quite easy to setup. I will just have to use a power bank to plug in and charge the battery once every 2 months or so per the instructions. I am happy with this camera so far. They also give me free cloud storage so I don’t have to store the videos locally. I like how I can adjust how motion detector is because it only notifies me when someone walks to our front door.

XTU 2K, Bell J6 Battery Powered Video DoorBell
XTU 2K, Model J6, Video DoorBell,Battery PoweredEdits to my original review:Purchased two of these: April 25 and July 1, both battery powered, have no existing door bellFirst unit 4 hours to full charge, second 14 hours. Second has different user manual based on cover, no removeble plastic film strips for shipping and boxing is slightly different, so think April 25 was older inventory.Second unit arrived used, faceplate badly scuffed, Amazon great about immediately sending a replacement and seller quickly responded to my concern–good customer service–As of about July 1, XTC finally offered an adjustable horizontal and vertical mount for less than $10. Works great. See my pic attached and search for ASIN B096Z8GDHQPros:–Recently while vacationing 1,800 miles from homes, always saw live feeds and file history, CloudEdge app pushed notices to cell phone, spoke live with a visit–exterior speaker audio was good, could see had strong wifi signal with router at home. Same results when working and running around town. Was amazed how much activity goes on near my home while I’m away–even saw delivery service almost mistakeningly leave a neighbor’s new, large screen TV on my porch.-–Day and night image quality is very good (day images in color, night greyscale)–Keeping both the “live” and “motion detection” features active at the same time so the device is serving as a security camera--Was so impressed with a 1080P video doorbell, decided to upgrade to this 2K model. Don’t have an existing electric door bell so have to resort to batteries–Like that the door chime is battery operated and can be placed anywhere in the room, does not have to occupy a wall electric plug. Two of the tones are “ding dong” type, the other two are obnoxious–Using a PNY Elite-X 64GB microSDXC card rated read 100/write 80MBs, U3 UHS-1, V30 and A1 because it’s intended for recording fast action images and is optimized for apps. After experimenting with recording time, increased the setting from 20 up to 30 seconds–Emailed XTU, they stated the 2K resolution is 2304x1296 pixels but 2560x1920 sure would be nice. Typical resolution for all the J5 models being sold–one seller is wrongly advertising their resolution at 2560x1920–their error yet to be corrected so watch for that unit–Battery full charge two hours before for first use–Just read seller comment to question they might be selling a multi-angle adjustable mount for J6 sometime around May of this year, that would be a huge plus–Unit routinely connects between 90-100% signal strength with wifi router–Pushes notifications to my cell phone within a couple seconds, have not experienced longer delays so far–No problems using CloudEdge to date compared to some comments in reviews–You can download an electronic version of the user manual from the XTU websiteCons:–Wish there was a way to select a different cell phone notification sound to differentiate doorbell activity from missed cell calls or incoming messagesOther thoughts:–This model J6 is quite a bit larger and heavier than wired J5 models. Suppose that is due to weight of the batteries--Never have been one to trust anything stored in the Cloud, Alexa will never be in my house, so use local SD card storage, works great–Once the CloudEdge app was installed and properly configured, it has reliably pushed notices and alerts to my cell phone while at home or away. Occasionally have a slight delay but believe it is the cell service, not the app–File maintenance: very easy looking at the “history” feature, view files, click “edit”, “select some or all” “delete”

OUT OF 3 CAMERAS I ONLY HAVE 1 WORKING IN LESS THAN 1 YEAR…VERY DISAPPOINTED…WASTE OF MONEY 💰
Well, I had brought 3 cameras last year, one of the camera has always worked fine, but the other two I have been back and forth with customer service several times since I got the cameras. At the beginning they used to trouble shoot the second camera because for some reason it didn’t connect to the wifi and some other issues. Well to tell you that the second camera doesn’t charge at all, I just have it in a box due to I have tried to reach out to customer service and no luck. Now, The third camera is having the same issues I have tried again and again to reach out and no luck I have explained the camera doesn’t turn on and it just blinks and they just give me the run around run. OUT OF 3 CAMERAS I ONLY HAVE ONE WORKING IN LESS THAN A YEAR SMH. VERY DISAPPOINTED… WASTE OF MONEY 💰

Nice camera!
Buy it to watch out my package deliver, this door bell camera is wireless and easy to set up. battery is rechargeable and long lasting. Night vision and sound quality is very good. live view working good and clear. I had to try few times to get the app and the door bell wifi connect setup, you need to read before to understand. Also you can get a SD card inserted for the storing videos as need.I can always see if someone walks to my front door, happy to have this reliable door bell camera.

Not what I ordered
The product was not new. There are scratches on front including sensor. There weren't any protective film covers on the product and since I paid for a new product I am returning this one. I did however, install the app and turn it on to see how it works just incase I decide to get a replacement. Everything seems to be fine but I didn't use it for more than a few minutes so that's all I can say for now. I will update my experience.

It can't do 5 g signals
doorbell for mobile phone. does not show motion only still image off center. requires subscription for an memory. requires qr code funcitionality which was difficult to establish. . requires 2.4 g . will not work for 5 g. All print on card is microscopic. needed to scan and enlarge. youtube was not useful. Instructions were very complex and seem to require a techie. Product itself looked excellent and was reviewed well. looked solid and sturdy. the hard part was the set up. Good price.

Easy, The best bell Camera you will buy!!
After buying 2 & returning them, including the popular Ring Model, I purchased this Little thing that "Packs a Wallop" & will beat anything in the Market for the Price!! 1. The easiest of all to Install & get it paired to your WIFI. 2. Comes with everything you need, including your own Charge it @ the door when u need to, remote Chime, free Cloud Storage (let Ring beat that!), and a limited, lifetime Warranty!! Oh, did I mention the Price? Now try to find something like this that works this well with all these extras, with HD Picture Quality for this price, that even a 5th Grader can Install!
