Review: Well folks🙂 I have to tell you this has been a nice weed eater that cuts really good and it's LIGHTWEIGHT and it's powerful👍 and at a PRICE that can't be beat...it's way more powerful than some battery and electric weed eaters that I have.. like a Ryobi... And supposedly a commercial grade Ryobi $200 😤.. Anyway 🙂 This electric weed eater is very good and I'll take that PEPSI challenge any day 😀 when comparing it to some other weed eaters PLUS it doesn't USE LINE like other electric weed eaters that I've used.. at least that's been my experience.. This is a KEEPER weed eater from Black & Decker👍....it handles tall grass and even some hedge... though it probably shouldn't be used for hedge but it's TOUGH 😀 and better than any battery weed eater I used especially with the power and cutting... The power alone and convenience of NOT rushing through the job with the battery pack and charging ect imo is worth the cord drag 🙂... and much better than a battery weed eater or other electric weed eaters.. This just cuts better 👍... With MORE power consistently and constantly through the whole job... So in conclusion 🙂 the Black & Decker BESTA510 weed eater in my opinion is a KEEPER and this model has been around for a while which speaks for itself not to mention Black & Decker has been around for years.... This weed eater OVERALL (pound for pound ) is a solid performer with many mostly liking this weed eater and Black & Decker products overall.. Thanks for reading🙂.. **Q: Does this trimmer require a two-prong or three-prong power supply?**
A: You can use a three prong extension cord. It only fits one way though. So if it doesn't fit flip it over and the cord should plug into the trimmer.

**Q: What is the process for line replacement?**
A: When replacing the line, use only 0.065 inch (1.65mm) diameter round line. Other diameters or shapes may degrade performance or cause damage to the trimmer. Unplug trimmer. Remove the empty spool from the trimmer. Remove any remaining cutting line from the spool. Make a fold at the end of the cutting line at about 3/4 inch (19mm). Feed the cutting line into one of the line anchoring slots. Insert the 3/4 inch (19mm) end of the bulk line into the hole in the spool adjacent to the slot. Make sure the line is pulled tight against the
spool. Wind the cutting line onto the spool in the direction of the arrow on the spool. Make sure to wind the line on neatly and in layers. Do not crisscross. When the wound cutting line reaches the recesses, cut the line. Fit the spool and cap onto the trimmer.

First time use today. It's works great. The light weight makes it so much more maneuverable than my very heavy 15 year old Echo weed line trimmer with heavy 58V battery. The Echo 58V battery died and did not want to spend $220 for new Echo battery with probably old tech battery. Debated on $300 EGO 56V trimmer and this corded 120VAC Black and Decker weed line trimer for $52. Also purchase a 50 ft AWG14 extension cord. The combination is terrific. Again the light weight is a revelation for me. The 6.5 Amp motor is plenty powerful. The thinner .065 line works well cut everything that needed wacking. The auto line feed works well. The length of tool fits me perfectly - I'm 5-4 so it may not be so good for tall folks. I extended to its max length. I wrapped the extension cord a few loops around the trigger handle and had no issues with cord staying on. Highly recommended with one could deal with extension cord. I don't see an issue with reliability and longevity. The electric motor seem well spec and strong. Really not much to go wrong with it. And no battery to deal with. For my very small yard it works great.
