According to its original formulation, it is made from 72% pure vegetable oils including olive oil, famous for its softening and protective properties. Presented raw, shrink-wrapped. Fragrance: Fragrance Free Use Advice: Intended for the gentle wash of all textiles, specially delicate fabrics (baby garment, silk, lace): soak your laundry, wash it with soap, lather up and rinse thoroughly with clear water. **Q: Full list of ingredients, please? "Traditional" and "authentic" mean nothing to me unless I see the actual ingredients.**
A: Cleansing and protective olive oil. Fragrance-free, without colouring agents. Sodium Olivate, Sodium Palmate, Aqua (Water), Sodium Cocoate, Sodium Chloride, Sodium Hydroxide.  Made in Marseille.

**Q: is this too harsh for the face?**
A: My hsband uses it for his entire body but and has not had any trouble.  Les chemicals than regular soap.  If you are sensitive to fragrences this is a good soap.

**Q: does anyone have a recommended soap dish that fits this cube well?**
A: Hi.  I love this soap and use it for washing my dishes.  I found a conch shell, believe it or not, and it sits in the shell on my sink.

**Q: Chemical smell of the olive has me worried.I grew up with palm not olive.Can someone that used it growing up confirm it always smelled like that?**
A: The reason this stuff smells horrendous is that it's not properly cured. They ship it too fresh and tightly sealed so that it cannot cure. Leave it unwrapped outside in a dry spot for a couple of months and it will cure to the point that the smell is tolerable. That said, properly cured it will always have a somewhat harsh smell, but keep in mind this is not a body soap, it is a cleaning soap originally intended for laundry, cleaning floors etc!
