All you need are dry erase markers, which quickly wipe off when you are ready. My only "complaint" would be that there's too much of it. I needed, and still use, two small pieces to write notes to my bed-bound husband. The price was good but I would have preferred a couple of little sheets, say 5x7" rather than pay for a big roll. **Q: Will dry erase markers bleed through onto the wall?** A: My daughter uses it everyday and we write colorful messages to each other. It does not bleed through to the wall. **Q: What kind of finish does it have? Matte, semi gloss, gloss?** A: It's a gloss as if you would see on a stationary white board.
