Tire is like 19inch od roughly? Wheels i need have to be 18-20" od for brakes to work on my cart.** A: The tire OD is 16 inches, not the rim size. I had to send mine back and order 20 inch tires. The non-inflatable tire on one of the wheels recently split, rendering the cart effectively useless. Not wanting to part with what has been a useful product, I scoured the internet for replacement wheels. I finally settled on the Lapp Wheels 16x1.95, flat free. They are a perfect fit and seem to be even more sturdy than the original wheels. The original tires had a flat tread profile from sidewall to sidewall. These wheels have a rounded profile from sidewall to sidewall, so I expect the cart to leave a more obvious track when moving heavy items across turf. This is not a show stopper for me, given the normal condition of my lawn.
