And then, I don't know how, but once you get it all together, it genuinely is sturdy and is exactly what I was looking for... I honestly have no idea how flimsy plastic can be that sturdy just be being connected! But yeah, for what I paid, solid five stars - it'll do great for keeping some items on my deck dry. The lid seems easy to open, and it even has little click on wheels so you can move it around if need be.
