Luckily they couldn't make it by until Monday, I watched a couple youtube videos and diagnosed the capacitor was bad ( it did have some burned contacts which were easy to spot). Less than $20 dollars on Amazon for a new Capacitor and it arrived at my house the next day. Took all of 15 minutes to pull the sheet metal off the heat pump and replace. Once I turned the power back on at the breaker, everything kicked on like new. Been over a month now and I'm very happy I was able to save some $$$ and get our house cooled down the next day! Does it really matter? well, kinda as I had to spend an addition 15 minutes maybe 20 because I had to go get a drill from the truck, find an appropriate drill bit, and modify the holding bracket.... not what I paid an extra $7 for when I could have had a 2.5" for $10....
