My model is the EX-RJ45, p/n 100004. It seemed to work Okay in the beginning. Now after going through less than a bag of 100 Platinum EZ crimp connectors it no longer works on pins 1,2, and 3. The block slips to the side of the pins and bends them. I dug out my $5.00 non ratcheting crimping tool to finish my project. I am a homeowner and only use for projects around the house. I need to get a tool that works and it most likely will not be a Platinum tool. **Q: What is the correct replacement blade for this crimper There is no model number on the crimper just a patent number: 5,996,224 Thanks!** A: The model is EZ-RJ45 don't know if I would bother with changing the blade I did and still didn't work properly **Q: is it for the rj45 pass thru?** A: Yes it is for the RJ-45EZ, which allows the wires to pass through the connector for easy assembly. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect tool for EZ RJ45's, quick, easy, what more could you ask for? *by T***5 on 30 July 2018* Probably not essential but definitely the best tool ever for making RJ45's up and essential for for the EZ plugs. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great *by J***N on 23 April 2026* Awesome tool ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I love the push through and cut system *by D***Y on 1 September 2015* What an improvement over my old standard crimp tool.
