This cable was exactly what I needed, and does the job perfectly. I've always had issues with cheap USB 3 cables. If not properly shielded, they can interfere with wireless keyboards and mice, and cause all sorts of troubleshooting headaches. This StarTech cable is absolutely not one of those low-quality cables. I've had no issues at all with this cable. It worked right away and I was able to get full USB 3.0 speeds out of it. I haven't noticed any interference, either. A similar cable that came with my disc-drive enclosure (for turning internal drives into external usb drives) would shock me for a minute after it was take out and then just stop. Well, this new one here does not have that problem at all! I would say, even if something comes with a cable or some sort - get more - the ones being put into the box with your products is literally the cheapest crap you can find - do you want the cheapest crap? I don't - so I got this cable!
