Using this and a few other resources, I studied it pretty thoroughly. I felt this book covered a lot of the more obscure stuff - embryological equivalent of Wharton's jelly being a perfect example (came up before; I had no idea...) No book is ever going to cover everything but this one is a great buy for those studying for mrcog 1. The lay out is sparse, without fancy images or glossy pages, but I found that it covered exactly what was needed, all in bullet-point format. I thought the anatomy, genetics and physiology chapters were particularly strong.
