Review: I have been playing a variety of board games in the past few years and expanding my collection. Out of the many games that I have played, this has moved to one of my top recommendations for families who are just getting into board games. We have a family of 4 with a 16 and 12 year old boys. The 12 year old won. It is one of the simplest game to teach amongst more complex games. My son does not like to read to I have used board games to develop analytical skills. It is working. The game is beautiful, the components are really nice, especially in the limited edition (I have series preference for metal money so it was not an option for me). I highly recommend this game.

**Q: What is the difference between the first and second editions if any?**

The Second Edition has slightly modified Wooden Twig resource tokens and a few clarifications in the rules.

**Q: The game came used and parts missing, if I reorder will you get it right?**
A: You can buy better pieces at etsy if you are missing resources. If I where you I would get a refund and get a new game if it's missing cards.

**Q: Does this version of Everdell still have the farmer and his wife? They were canceled in the one we bought.**
A: The 2nd Edition of Everdell Collectors should contain the Husband/Wife cards. If you find that there are cards missing, please fill out a replacement request on our website.

I bought Everdell as a gift for my wife and we mostly enjoy playing it just the two of us, but it's fun with 4 players just as much. It's beautiful game with exquisite artwork and a very immersive theme, where players take turns placing woodland creature workers and playing cards to build a thriving forest city across the changing seasons. It’s easy to learn in a couple of rounds, but deep enough to stay engaging every time we bring it to the table. The game components are high quality, and the collector's edition we own also adds extra cards, more meeples to choose from and metal tokens that are not found in the standard version. Very recommended!
