Review: Solid product so far - I’ve only needed it a couple times, and I’m a little surprised it costs as much as it does, but a rotary throatless shear is a wonderful tool to have if you make patch repairs with sheet metal. It’s a quantum leap ahead of hand shears, especially as the cut lengths increase. You don’t need to wrestle with the material, just start feeding it and ratchet away. The only thing I can foresee needing in the future will be replacement wheels…we shall see

**Q: Can this be used for precision cuts around 0.9 to 1 mm?**
A: the kaka mms4 could probably do what you want just make sure the blade is adjusted properly. It is also more for curved cuts and not so much for straight cuts. I hope this helps

**Q: What is the hardness and what kind of steel are they made of the blade?**
A: I can’t say how hard the material is per say
But mine cuts the sheet metal very well and still has a great edge on it.  I use it in my shop on metal work

**Q: Does this shear do a serated or plain edge?**
A: Plain edge

**Q: Could this cut 14ga steel bicycle spokes?**
A: I doubt it it's not very sturdy and I'm sorry I bought it I should have spent more money and bought a better one
