This is because DHA, which is the tanning active, reacts with the amino acids and melanin already present in your skin. However, I'm pleased to confirm that we have received some really positive feedback from customers with uneven pigmentation, who have used our products and been very happy with the result! You can also try applying a barrier cream such as a thicker moisturiser onto any age spots before applying tan, or the reverse where you would apply all over and then dab off the tan application from the darker areas. **Q: What happened if u use the wrong color** A: The Face is completely customisable, depending on how many drops you use and how long you leave the product to develop.
