I usually like the protein powders, bars, mixes, etc more then the average person and this was totally inedible, even with maple syrup. My husband couldn't eat it either we had to throw the waffles away. It tasted very much like chemicals. Wish I could return or get a refund!

Tastes okay, lemony with a little chew.  I would buy it again. Like that there is protein in the batter to offset all the carbs from the syrup. :)
