## Description

GoughNuts Original Ring was first designed in 2006. There was a need for a safer product and there was a need for tougher or more durable product. The Original Ring design has no weak points. The dog will grab the Ring in a different spot each time creating months and or years of power chewing. Every Goughnuts product has a safety guarantee and when any red is seen, this indicates that toy is damaged and should be returned.

Review: Tough but too small. - This toy is very heavy and my pit-bull looses interest in it quickly. Also too small, so she cannot bite on it and have someone hold it as dogs like to pull things. I bought the ball version and she plays a lot with that. A redesign to make it more practical would make it great. Material itself is very very durable.
Review: Dod loves it, and so far indistructable! - My dog has not yet been able to mark or scratch this yet, abosulutely loves this toy.

## Features

- ✅ AGGRESSIVE CHEWERS, MEET YOUR MATCH — Your search for a toy that can stand up to your dog’s aggressive chewing is over. Goughnuts tough dog toys are long lasting and will keep your dog busy while saving you money you'd otherwise spend replacing toys.
- ✅ ENGINEERED FOR MAXIMUM DURABILITY — Designed by a rubber chemist with 30 years of dog chew toy experience, Goughnuts heavy duty dog toys are made with smooth sturdy natural rubber and offer no weak spots that your dog could bite through.
- ✅ ULTIMATE SAFETY— We aim to make the safest chew toy for aggressive chewers to prevent your dog from chewing off and ingesting small shreds and pieces that can cause intestinal blockages, resulting in surgery or death. Our rubber is safe on dog teeth.
- ✅ THE PERFECT SIZE FOR YOUR DOG — The wider the toy, the harder it is for them to complete their bite and tear off pieces. That’s why we offer toys in multiple sizes, including our 5" diameter ring toy for dogs 30-70 lbs.
- ✅ GUARANTEED FOR LIFE — Goughnuts is a female- and family-owned company that manufactures in the USA. Our super durable dog toys are nearly indestructible, but if your dog manages to damage them, we'll replace your purchase under our lifetime warranty.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Does this toy taste strongly like rubber? My dog wont play with a Kong because they taste terribile...I know because I licked it**
A: Unfortunately my dog would not play with his Goughnut or his Goughnut stick. I discovered why after tasting them. They have an incredibly bitter taste. I washed and soaked them in various cleaners, which helped some, but they still taste bitter. Maybe that is why they are said to be indestructible.

**Q: i have a small dog that love to chew. and she can chew though anything in less then 1 hour or less. is this a good toy for her or not?**
A: I have 5 dogs, 2 of which are over 100 lbs. They've played with this for a month, unsupervised chewing day and night as well as fetch/chase daily. There's not so much as a tooth mark in it, and they normally go through an "indestructible" toy in a day. Highly recommend this toy for rabid chewers. Also check out the Kong brand black ball, it's just as durable just a different shape.

**Q: Is it made in China or the United States?**
A: Proudly Made in the USA

**Q: Is there a real difference between the goughnut maxx and the goughnut maxx 50?**
A: The Maxx 50 is more dense then the Maxx. - they add 50% more carbon to the mixture to make it the strongest toy they have. When people purchase them from me at my store - I usually suggest that start with the Maxx - if the dog does get through to the red core - when they bring it back - we upgrade to the maxx 50. If you know your pup is a total over the top chewing champion ! - do the maxx 50. Either way - they are totally guaranteed to be replaced if your pup get to the red core Paula Cool Dog Gear.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My dog CAN’T destroy it.
*by J***. on 4 July 2026*

I purchased this dog toy in Feb 24 for a rescue dog we brought home. He is 60 lbs and even at 3 yrs old he is an extremely aggressive chewer. I have spent a small fortune on toys for him that say they are for aggressive chewers and they have all met their match…..except this Goughnut. 2 1/2 yrs later it is still in great shape. And not from lack of use. It is virtually indestructible and holding up great to his chewing. We play fetch almost every evening with it. He loves for me to toss it on end so that it bounces up in the air and he catches it mid bounce. He brings it back to me, drops it and barks for me to throw it again. While it is expensive it has certainly been worth every penny in not just durability but dog fun.
