I compared it with a camelback brand and ended up keeping this one. I'm very pleased with it, and would recommend the purchase.Overall the quality and materials are excellent and should last a long time. It's easy to fill with the handle. It's easy to clean and the 3d design really helps to get it properly dry. I like that the tube detaches - it's convenient for both setup and cleaning.Their magnet is genius, (it's the simple things in life, right?) - it's easy to attach and detach and the valve from the magnet, but it is also not going anywhere no matter what. They got that part perfect, and when you get it set up just right with your pack, it's really great.The only thing that I didn't like is the suction required to get water when the bladder is closer to empty, but I imagine that might be a universal issue when you are a bit out of breath! I had the same issue with the camelback one. I was able to extend the hose downward and provide some water for my dog with a bit of suction to get it started, so water does come out... just slowly. It helps to bite down a bit more. I'm definitely figuring it out.The silicone around the bite valve is comfortable and good quality, but does tend to attract hair and dust. I haven't had an issue with that during hikes at all, but I do notice it usually needs a rinse before I get started.It's sometimes hard to open and close the valve. I've just left it open by default and closed it before I take my pack off so I don't end up with a sprinkler. The flat side is so common sense - it sits flat on your back, instead of feeling like a football filled with water on your back. Nice wide opening that is easy to close - no fussy lids trying to line up the arrows, it just easily screws on. Big rigid handle makes it easier to fill from the faucet or when you're filtering water into it, and there's a hook to hang it upside down when you're done so it dries out. Only negative is the end you drink from - water comes out in 2 little streams, not much flow. I may switch that out for a regular Camelbak one that flows better. Otherwise, I've gotten these in both sizes available, and this went through a rim-to-rim hike of the Grand Canyon, including filtering from streams, with no issues.
