CURT trailer balls are designed for strength, ease of use and, ultimately, to get you to your destination without hassle. CURT 2" trailer hitch balls are constructed from quality steel and are made with precision to fit your 2" trailer coupler like a hand in a glove. They are able to tow most standard-duty and heavy-duty trailers such as utility trailers, boat trailers, campers, livestock trailers and recreational vehicle trailers for hauling ATVs, snowmobiles, personal watercraft and more. These tow balls are an excellent extension of your class 3 or class 4 trailer hitch and ball mount, and are the ideal choice for most pickup trucks and SUVs (NOTE: Never exceed the lowest weight capacity of any towing component; i.e. the vehicle, hitch, trailer, etc). This particular 2" trailer ball offers a ball capacity of 3,500 lbs. It features a 3/4" shank diameter, a 3" shank length, 0" of rise and a nickel-chrome finish to protect against rust and scratches. With its fine-threaded shank, this 2" trailer ball also offers an added measure of holding strength and provides smooth installation and torqueing. To give you peace of mind while towing to that next destination, we also carefully test our trailer balls and ensure that each one meets U.S. VESC specifications. ## Features - PRECISE FIT. This tow hitch ball has a 2-inch diameter to fit virtually any 2-inch coupler. The ball shank has a 3/4-inch diameter and measures 3 inches long for secure attachment to a trailer hitch ball mount - CORROSION-RESISTANT. For long-lasting resistance to rain, dirt and rust, this hitch ball is finished in a durable, protective chrome plating - SECURE INSTALL. For dependable strength, this trailer hitch ball comes with a zinc-plated hex nut and helical lock washer. It also has fine threads for an enhanced hold on the ball hitch (160 lb.-ft. torque required) - TESTED FOR SAFETY. To promote the highest level of safety while towing, this CURT tow ball is tested to U.S. VESC specifications - International products have separate terms, are sold from abroad and may differ from local products, including fit, age ratings, and language of product, labeling or instructions. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0009TCR7Q | | Automotive Fit Type | Universal Fit | | Brand Name | CURT | | Compatible with Vehicle Type | Marine-Personal-Craft, Snowmobile | | Customer Reviews | 4.7 4.7 out of 5 stars (441) | | Finish Type | CHROME-PLATED | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00612314119004 | | Included Components | Truck Accessories;Towing/Towing Accessories;automotive-hitches | | Item Type Name | Trailer Hitch Ball, 3,500 lbs. | | Item Weight | 2 Pounds | | Manufacturer | Curt Manufacturing | | Manufacturer Part Number | 40019 | | Manufacturer Warranty Description | Manufacturer warranty | | Material Type | Alloy Steel | | Maximum Towing Capacity | 1600 Grams | | Model Number | 40019 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | OEM Equivalent Part Number | 40019 | | Pull Force | 3500 Pounds | | UPC | 612314119004 | | Unit Count | 1.0 count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** CURT - **Finish type:** CHROME-PLATED - **Item weight:** 2 Pounds - **Material:** Alloy Steel - **Vehicle service type:** Marine-Personal-Craft, Snowmobile ## Images ![CURT 40019 Chrome Trailer Hitch Ball, 3,500 lbs, 2-Inch Diameter, 3/4 x 3-Inch Shank - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61qyE6ExUdL.jpg) ## Frequently Bought Together - CURT 40019 Chrome Trailer Hitch Ball, 3,500 lbs, 2-Inch Diameter, 3/4 x 3-Inch Shank - CURT 40016 Chrome Trailer Hitch Ball, 2,000 lbs, 1-7/8-Inch Diameter, 3/4 x 3-Inch Shank - CURT 45014 Class 2 Trailer Hitch Ball Mount, Fits 1-1/4-Inch Receiver, 3,500 lbs, 3/4-Inch Hole, 5-Inch Rise, Gloss Black Powder Coat --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.ar/products/288291303-curt-40019-chrome-trailer-hitch-ball-3-500-lbs-2](https://www.desertcart.com.ar/products/288291303-curt-40019-chrome-trailer-hitch-ball-3-500-lbs-2) --- *Product available on Desertcart Argentina* *Store origin: AR* *Last updated: 2026-10-25*
