So it should work for the 220-230 voltage range. Plug is standard 110v so an adapter would be needed for the other plugs. **Q: how do I set up the guest network?** A: The guest network is a nice feature as you can operate it, with or without a password, for guests completely separately from the network you are using for your own devices. Setting up a guest network is optional, but if you do set one up, it is better to use password protection for it. Your instruction book instructs you to register your router at www.netgear.com . On page 5 of your instructions, it gives you a website for logging in to your router's account (routerlogin.com or routerlogin.net). In your instruction book, the default user id and password are provided for your first login. Once in your account (the NETGEAR Genie), it is best to change the default password. Your account screen is divided into categories both by list and by icon. One of the icons is called "Guest Access". Hitting Guest Access will bring you to the place in your account where you can 1) enable a guest network which will probably be called "NetGuest"; 2) select the level of encryption that you want for your guest network (normally the shorter of the two choices); and 3) set up a password to protect the use of the guest network (if you don't set a password then anyone within range can use it).
