## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can you change channels and volume without the remote?**
A: Yes on the side there are buttons but why would you ever not want to use the remote?

**Q: Is this a display monitor or an actual TV?**
A: I purchased it for its TV features.  I believe it can also be used as a monitor, but I am not an electronics guy.

**Q: Does this TV have a separate power adaptor or is it just a plug?**
A: Well which is it, does it have an external "brick" power adapter or is it just a straight skinny plug????   2 different and opposite answers.

**Q: will this tv hook up to cable and a DVR?**
A: Only if your cable box and DVR has an HDMI output to send the signal to this TV. '2016 model year" TVs no longer have any analog Hi-Def inputs (like component inputs). New ( 2016 models and all future TVs...) only can be fed a signal through an antenna input or an HDMI input. The people whose other components are recent enough to have HDMI connections (the last 10 years or so...) shouldn't have a problem with the lack of component inputs on new TVs. Those of us who have older model AV processors without HDMI outputs should be looking at the remaining 2015 or earlier TVs, or dropping some major money on a newer processor or receiver.
