These are well made, sturdy wheels. I was looking at metal wheels and was a bit concerned with these being plastic they would look cheap and flimsy. You cannot tell they are plastic at all once installed. The locks are great. Our old casters didn’t turn due to the weight of the island but the island slid if leaned on or pushed. Once the lever on the brakes is engaged, the wheels never move. I highly recommend these wheels.

My sons attached these wheels on the bottom of a heavy pottery barn server which weights more than I can move. After suffering an injury to my hand, these wheels make it easy for me to push now with my one working hand and locks using my feet to flip the lock up and down. Has the perfect rustic look I hoped for.

I was so glad to find these and cannot wait to install them on a rustic metal bench I just purchased. Well, I'll install them after a trip to Lowe's or Home Depot to purchase the hardware I still need in order to do the install. I'm a little miffed that these really nice wheels did not come with the necessary hardware. If I knew I was going to have to make a trip to a big box store and spend more $$, I would have just purchased everything at the same time, even if the only available wheels were not so decorative. Happy with the wheels, unhappy with the lack of hardware. :-(

Smooth gliding wheels that are very heavy duty! Good purchase

Bought these in "Used - Acceptable" condition for a third of the price, and the only notable flaw was damaged packaging. They are smooth and look great on our island we made out of a dresser. They add substantial height, roll nicely, and the locks feel tight. Happy with our purchase! 😃

I really like these casters. They have the vintage look that pairs perfectly with the vintage cabinet & converted into a rolling cart with only a few drawers. The casters roll and lock easily, don't mar the floor and look great. Right size. Right look. I would buy these again for another antique renew. Industrial vibe with great functionality.

Nice casters. With kitchen remodel, I built an island from my old cabinets and used these casters. They roll nicely and don't damage my new flooring (luxury vinyl plank). My island doesn't yet have a countertop on it but it's already heavy enough that the casters don't roll on their own, the island stays in place, but I can move it when needed very easily so I don't need to lock the casters but can if I want. I simply removed the "skirting" of the cabinet essentially removing the toe kick and the casters replaced the height of the tie kick perfectly so my island with a standard countertop (laminate, not thicker butcher block) will end up the same height as my cabinets and counters. These are 4" total height, the same as a standard toe kick height. For this application, they made this project very easy and provide heavy duty, long lasting function.
