Wearing this daily as a 40yr old. Great protection from the sun.
Just purchased my second bottle of this sunscreen. Just turning 40, I recently got on the ball about taking care of my skin = applying sunscreen daily. I previously purchased this as a sunscreen for pool days and days out with the kiddos. Now, I use it daily as the last step of my morning skincare routine. As a 40 yr old with sensitive, combination skin, this product does not irritate or cause dryness.Pros:• No white cast• No scent/very faint scent (sometimes I think I smell it, sometimes I don’t)• Very hydrating.. so much so, that I often skip moisturizer before applying primer & makeup. I appreciate the added hydration for my dryer areas (like under the eyes)• Blends in beautifully with my tinted moisturizer/foundation• High SPF. Great sun protectionCons:• Looks/feels greasy (in my opinion) if worn aloneI used to hate wearing sunscreen daily, but this one works great with my skin type and blends my makeup well. Now I never skip this step while getting ready for the day.

New Favorite!
I have always looked for a sunscreen that was moisturizing but also didn’t pill, especially around the outline of my eyebrows and face. I’ve tried a couple here and there, even really expensive ones like La Roche-Posay. Any of their sunscreens just were NOT doing it for me. I also don’t think a sunscreen should be $31 anyways.I’ve tried CeraVe’s ultra light sunscreen SPF 30 and I liked that for a bit but I feel like it still pilled around the outer parts of my face. Then for the longest time, I was using Black Girl Sunscreen Kids Sunscreen SPF 50 for body and face and I really liked that. Cheap, effective, didn’t leave a white cast, and is worth looking into. Something I would continue repurchasing if I see it. I tried the Eucerin Age Defense + Hyaluronic Acid 50 SPF and while I did love how that dried down, it was more of a satin-y finish, I don’t know how well my skin responded to it. It could have been a mixture of other skincare products I was using before and have stopped, so I really only use that on my hands.I follow Dr. Dray and Abbey Yung (love them) on YouTube and both have tested the Bondi Sands Sunscreen out and had very good feedback for it. I decided to buy it off Amazon because I couldn’t find it anywhere local (I don’t think it’s sold locally in the US because it’s an Australian brand) but I figured why not. I got their fragrance free face and body sunscreen too and it is VERY moisturizing! Felt like I was putting on a body lotion. I personally love that feeling. I think once the face sunscreen dries down a bit, it gives a beautifully glowy finish. I know not everyone loves that kind of look, but I have dry and sensitive skin and have dealt with pilling with a lot of sunscreens and I’ve had NO issues with this sunscreen. When I got it, it must have been on sale because the face sunscreen was $6.99 and that’s why I bought it, but I definitely would continue to buy it at $12.99. I’ve used Bondi Sands tanning products before so I figured their skincare/sunscreen should be good too. I was not wrong! I’ve had NO irritation, sensitivity, burning issues, no white cast at all using their sunscreens. 10/10 recommend.I do plan on wearing makeup for the first time after using this sunscreen so we will see how it holds up but I have a feeling it will be great. Definitely worth a try :)

Great sunscreen for the price
I bought this sunscreen because it was the most reasonably price for the amount of product that you get, and I was just looking for a replacement to a different brand that I hated. This sunscreen has outperformed any sunscreen that I have used before because of its simplicity. It smells like sunscreen and nothing else, no weird sweetness other added smells. A big issue that I have with other sunscreens is that it leaves a weird white cast after applying or that the sunscreen pills too easily, but this sunscreen didn't have that issue. The sunscreen left my face feeling very moisturized whereas with other sunscreens would make me feel itchy or trapped in my own skin. This sunscreen truly blew me out of the water with it's great qualities and affordable price. As for the waterproof ability, the sunscreen does a good job of staying on my face even after I've sweated quite a bit and I would say that it's water resistance is true because I find it somewhat difficult to wash it off of my hands. This sunscreen is truly a great product!

New favorite facial sunscreen!
I truly hated the challenge of finding the right sunscreen, but I finally found it.When I initially applied it *liberally* all over my face I was so disappointed because I was a shiny mess even after rubbing it in all of the way. No white cast. Just shiny. I have learned from experience though that you have to give a product time to absorb and dry down - and it did! The shiny greaseball was gone! I couldn't have been happier. It had a faint glow, but it wasn't shiny. I truly hate being shiny!I wore it out in the sun today, and even reapplied it while out and about, and I still wasn't a shiny greaseball! Or burnt. I wasn't burnt either which is clearly the entire point of sunscreen. But I also wasn't shiny!!** Important note ** I always put my face sunscreen on right after washing my face. Wash. Pat dry. Sunscreen. No other moisturizers or serums or anything, or else layering products will guarantee a shine for me. This sunscreen is so moisturizing that I don't have to worry about not applying moisturizer and I love that! If you're having issues with sunscreen not absorbing well and feeling shiny - whatever sunscreen you might be using - I highly recommend applying that first layer of sunscreen immediately after washing and drying your face. Fresh, clean skin will absorb any product much more effectively.
