Can this blanket hold up to daily washings? Can I use bleach for the white one?** A: I wouldn’t recommend this for your purpose. It’s not a blanket. **Q: Weird question, but is it quiet? We currently have a duvet insert that is very crinkly when you move and it bothers me.** A: It is very quiet, I do understand **Q: This is my first time a buy a Duvet Insert how often should you wash it if you're using Duvet covers??** A: Our dog sleeps with us. Needless to say I have washed it several times since purchasing the duvet. It looks as good today as when I bought it. The key is to wash it in COLD water and dry on the permanent press cycle which is low heat. We really love this duvet. **Q: Did everyone wash this comforter before using and did it come out okay? I'm getting a cover and will be washing that.** A: I was prepared to wash the duvet insert because I was notified that it would come shrink wrapped in plastic and, in my past experience that usually means that it would have a chemical smell. When I unwrapped it I was pretty surprised that it did not have any odor. None. I put it on my bed and started using it only after fluffing it in the dryer. The Duvet Cover I received had a pretty significant smudge on it ~ I did wash it, and I used Oxy-Clean and it came out perfectly. If you do get one with a smudge, the company is looking tracing back through their process to find where it would have happened, but they are extremely committed to giving you a perfect product ~ so, reach out to them. They have been amazing to work with. I love both items. Beautifully soft and well made...........
