It will not insulate well until it is dried out again. If it gets wet and freezes, over time the fibers will break apart and it will deteriorate. **Q: Can i use this to insulate hvac metal duct?** A: Yes, but why when regular fiberglass in much cheaper? This product in intended for temperature much higher than any HVAC requires.
