I was able to wipe it clean with paper towels like it was pictured in the add. I then washed it by hand. Add says it is dish washer save but the paper work suggested doing it by hand as some dish washer soap will remove the shinny surface. Washing by hand is no problem as it cleans really easy. So far I really like this product.
