First, folic acid or folate is vitamin B-9. This was not on the list of ingredients. Second, vitamin B 12 is referred to by a different name.Methylcobalamin and 5-deoxyadenosylcobalamin are the forms of vitamin B12 that are active in human metabolism . (I got this from the website nih.gov) The ingredient list only mentions B12, but not the exact form of the B 12. No B9 on the ingredient list. I've been involving and helping someone with a pressure wound (bedsore). The treatment had been going poorly until we were recommended to try Juven. Once we started on a disciplined regiment of two times a day the wound started to improve to a point the doctor and the nurses were shocked at the improvement. After many expensive prescription medications and months on a WOUND VAC the sore continued getting worse. Once we started Juvine the doctor removed the VAC and skin is repairing rapidly and remarkably.
