Above info says shipping weight is 1lb, but product weight is 7lb.** A: It is a nice weight, but not as thick as canvass. It comes in a matching fabric case along with two poles. I also ordered from Amazon the Quick & Easy In-Ground Umbrella Stand Pole Holder $12.97 + $4.08 shipping sold by FixFind. If you need this it is a very sturdy green plastic cork screw type holder with two orange handles that fold down for easy screwing into the ground, and then folds back up out of the way. You can then sit your umbrella pole inside that for a good and sturdy anchoring. **Q: is this SOLID BLACK COLOR** A: Yes, it is solid black with no logos. **Q: Are the ribs metal or fiberglass?** A: Metal. One problem however. I ordered what I thought was a plain black umbrella as the picture showed, but it came with 4 huge University of Georgia logos and we were disappointed .
