I was using a cheap Logitech MK295 wireless keyboard, which is quieter and feels nice to use but the stupid thing was constantly dropping connection, or going through batteries quite quickly. So I decided to go back to a wired keyboard as I need it all day for work, this Cherry one is very nice to use, I like the keys and the sound is absolutely fine. I'd describe it as quiet, definitely not silent. It's worth going to their website to download the software that allows you to change the default keys in the top right, you can set them to whatever you want (very useful!).
