I got these, thinking I could use these for "pour over" instead of Melitta filters in a cone (which work great, by the way). !st off, they won't hook on anything thicker than a very thin cup very well, Also, they won't open big enough for more than a spoon full of grounds. Notice the one picture of the cup handle. This looks like a child's toy cup. My 1st try, I tried it on a thin wall Aladdin sipper mug, only 3" diameter (the only thing I had that the"clips" would hook on). One side of the bag split open before I even put any grounds in. If you have very thin "petite" cups, you plan on using, these MAY work for you. But for a "regular" cup of coffee, at home, on-the-go, camping, etc. forget it. YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED!

I initially purchased these to have a drip coffee effect while camping. After placing a single dose of coffee grounds in each pouch I ran them all under a heat sealer to make sure they would not open during travels. Works like a charm. I now have camping coffee.

Bought it for travel and tried it twice so far. Works wonderfully well and makes great, dark coffe. This contraption may actually make better coffee than my pour over dripper which I love and have used for years.
