I did not receive one & it was very difficult to exert enough pressure to attach the backing.** A: It is difficult to attach the backing. After placing the washer on the shaft as far as you can, use a wooden (or plastic) spool to push it the rest of the way (place hole over the shaft and either press by hand or use a hammer to push the washer down until tight). I hope this helps **Q: I am looking for just one size of noses in 8mm in the triangular shape by the gross. Do you have them? as I only need this one size** A: Not sure if they are 8 mm but worked perfectly for a 18 in bear **Q: What is the tool for?** A: I didn't recieve any tools. These plastic noses just snap together **Q: I have never used these before, which direction does the back go on? I didn't receive the stylus either.** A: The flat side of the back goes against the fabric and fits up against the flat side of the eye or nose on the other side of the fabric when it's secured. Whitney Sews on YouTube has a great tutorial. Look for "How to Install Eyes and Noses on Stuffed Animals | Sewing Memory Bears 🐻 | Whitney Sews". Mine didn't come with a stylus.
