This lengthening mascara comes with a tapered short bristle brush, that's fatter in the middle and narrow on each end. Application was easy and lengthening and darkening with the dark black tone was quite visible. It also didn't irritate my sensitive eyes or contacts. Found it a touch prone to clumping, which wasn't ideal, but worse is that it rubbed off all too easily, leaving me to be constantly fussing with cleaning my under-eye area.
