NATURAL WOOD LOOK: The wood stain sealer will protect the surface and highlight the grains and natural look of the wood, giving your pieces an artistic and authentic feel. The is a rich medium brown tone, dark enough to mask lighter tones. FOOD & SKIN CONTACT SAFE: This medium brown wood stain is safe for food contact applications and perfect for all interior wood working projects. This includes tables, cutting boards, butcher’s block, children’s toys, cribs, and even pet items. LONG-LASTING FINISH: A little bit of this wood finish will go a long way. Allow the Stain & Finish to penetrate the wood for a minimum of 5 minutes and cure for a minimum of 8 hours for the best results. EASY APPLICATION: Simply stir before each use and apply a very thin coat across your entire wood piece with a lint-free cloth at room temperature. Do not use a brush.

Looks very nice on southern yellow pine and is holding up well on my new desk with no additional finishes. Just know it takes a while to cure and will stink up whatever space your project is in so make sure you don't mind the smell of linseed oil.
