It fits snug. It has not pulled out. So far the hose has worked great. The hose doesn't have the annoying rigidity the Dewalt hose has. This 16' hose lays down nicely across the garage floor without knocking stuff off the work bench or off shelves while using it. Also ordered the $30+ accessory kit to go with this hose. It also held up when I had 5 gallon pale on the cyclone and the vacuum would collapse the 5 gallon pail in on itself.
