These scissors are a good pair to try. Every child with fine motor skill problems have different strengths in their hands, so not every product is for each one, but I tried them all to give my son the ability to build his strengths and to ensure his self esteem would not be affected just because he doesn't have the same abilities as the rest of his peers. I really really suggest all parents to buy the golf pencils too. They are #2 pencils and they are short and light so they have more control.
