It is only a new shell. You can use the back of the original to keep the Cadillac emblem. They go togher just like the OEM. **Q: why do you have to 'reprogram' it if you are moving all the components into the new shell, you are not altering anything but the outside cover?** A: You don’t have to reprogram just pop the old shell on and put the new shell on.
