The problem, like other reviewers have pointed out is that the wire can be damaged when the insulation is stripped off, either cutting the copper strands or pulling them out. You can lose 25% of the conductive element. Slackening off the tension screw as much as it will go does not eliminate this problem. Shame they don't work particularly well as it is a nice idea. I ended up going back to my traditional strippers to finish the job. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Simple, one stop shop tool. *by K***N on Reviewed in the United States on 28 February 2020* This tool is fantastic for light duty projects/hobbyists and takes the guesswork and pain out of 99% of basic electrical work. I have only had the tool for a couple of months now and done only a small amount of work with it, but it makes stripping wires, crimping and cutting a breeze! Some of the adjustability is a bit opaque to a novice like me but it's still very easy to use and intuitive to a more experienced hand.If I had a concern it would be the number of moving parts. I can foresee the tool needing to be kept dry to avoid rust and possibly wearing out if used extensively.Overall, a fantastic tool!
