What just happened? This story was a roller coaster of a ride and I couldn’t help but go along for the ride. I loved this is war baby, and this is love baby will take you to another level of awesomeness!!This is Love, Baby picks up right where This is War, Baby left off. There are so many crazy twisted, scary moments, turns and twists in this book that I didn’t know where the next thing was going to come.Baylee and War are this couple that in book one meet thru fate and in book two, are solid and in love. She is the Queen and he is her King and she is going to do everything to get back to her King. The Devil (Gabe) has taken her away and she is in this nightmare world where she is trying to just survive in order to her home, to get back to him. There are other players. Things become a heck of a lot clearer and things are found out that made me feel sad and mad for Baylee. I have to say, this Gabe character-WOW!! He is one twisted person who, I don’t know how her parents let him around her because I could tell he is one weirdo just by the things he says and does and I got that in book 1 and by book 2-OMG. The twists and emotional turns the story takes will rock you as it did me. Baylee is one strong 18 yo woman who did what she had to, in order to survive.War , in this story, realized he had to overcome his problems to become stronger to get his Queen back and to have a life for them. I loved watching him grow and become the man for his lady. Yes, they had their problems but they supported one another while coping as best they could. No matter what, they were there for one another.You will see the reappearance of Brandon, Baylee’s old boyfriend from book 1. Beware of red herrings and false prophets- Things are not always as they seem. Heartbreak will be HUGE in this book. I cannot say much but this book has HUGE twists and at the very end there is a MAJOR TWIST that leave this book open to a possible 3rd book.Baylee and War are one of the best couples that I have come across of recent times because they are real. Even though they have some huge problems and issues, they are there for each other. They support one another and their love is true and real. I cried and cheered them on. First and foremost, if you haven’t read This is War, Baby then stop reading this review and go back and one click it right away for two reasons (1) you won’t know what the hell is going on in this book and (2) It is beyond amazing and you need to read that book!!!!!So having read TIWB, you are very well aware of the way the evil K. Webster left all of us hanging with that heart-wrenching cliffhanger… absolutely distraught and fearing for the life of our beautiful boy, War and the safety of our tough as nails, Baylee…with so many unanswered questions and she expected us to wait quietly! For real?! I wasn’t so sure I would ever be able to forgive her for so harshly ripping my heart out and stomping on it like she didn’t care… insert evil laugh! Well let’s just say I forgave her half way through This is Love, Baby, well kinda, sorta, not really, lol…..At that point I was too busy cursing her for the torment she was putting me through with this brilliant sequel!!!Reading this book was like being trapped in a fast paced, action packed, suspense thriller movie! Our story begins with one of our questions answered right off the bat – which one you ask, because we all had so many going into this book?! ya sorry, I’m not gonna tell you. I will say I was completely blown away and not expecting it at all, like not even a little bit! The beginning really speaks to the true wickedness of K. Webster and the way she can give you what you want without really giving you what you want, I know -- it will make sense once you get started……I found myself talking out loud to the characters all the time, like I have never done before, so much so even my poor husband was like “What did you say, babe?” and I was like “Nothing, I am talking to my book”. Like please leave me alone, can’t you see they need me lol… Seriously, I swear at some points I was shaking I was so nervous! Constantly closing my eyes and saying to myself, “you can do this” “just keep reading”. The whole book had my emotions all over the place, it was freaking crazy and I loved every minute of it!It is so hard to write this review without any spoilers as you REALLY need to experience this masterpiece for yourself… but I will tell you this much … all the questions you have will be answered in spectacular K. Webster fashion and you will absolutely love this book! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 "Twisted Nightmare of Insanity" stars *by M***A on Reviewed in the United States on April 6, 2016* Wow, what can I say about this extraordinary book without giving any spoilers away. My 1st thought was WTF? Is this the same book & we have just been transported to an alternate universe? It was not only suspenseful, but totally kept you on your toes. Just when you thought one thing was gonna happen, boom something outta the blue happens instead. You will have theories all thru the book. Some may pan out, but the majority will not. There were so many twists & turns, you sometimes have to stop and recover. This is a suspenseful rollercoaster ride that is one bumpy ride.I did have a problem with Bailey making choices that made you wonder if she was dropped on her head as a baby. However, I do cut her some slack as she has been thru Hell & back & then was taken on a return trip. We have other minor characters from the 1st book that become much more incorporated in this 2nd book. They make you wanna take a baseball bat to their head! This book is not near as graphicly violent as the first one, but still needs a warning label.This is the 2nd book of a series that picks right up where book #1 left off. You will need to read the 1st Book, This is War, Baby beforehand. As in the 1st book, K Author's writing is still top notch & that little storyteller inside her is seriously talented. She gives you just enough info for you to keep a dog in the fight, but not too much that it seems boring or as if it's being hand fed to you. This author know how to give you the proper ratio between "present" introspective & character interaction. The dialogue is great as well as the descriptive text. She makes you second guess yourself & your theories. Ms. Webster keeps you on the edge of your seat for the entire ride.
